The Puma Solarsmash Orange is a smart choice for players who want a forgiving, easy-handling padel racket without jumping straight into a stiff, technical performance model. Its round shape, low balance and soft EVA core make it very approachable, especially when defending at the back glass or reacting quickly at the net. The fibreglass face gives the racket a softer impact feel, which helps newer players generate depth without needing perfect technique.
It is not built for advanced players who want explosive smash power, rough-surface spin or a high-balance attacking feel. Instead, its strength is reliability. The Solarsmash Orange is best for players who want to improve control, reduce errors and enjoy a more comfortable first serious padel racket.
Puma Solarsmash is a beginner-friendly racket with a round shape, low balance, fibreglass face, carbon/fibreglass frame and soft EVA core.
- Weight: Around 360g — light enough for newer players to swing comfortably, but still solid enough for adult padel.
- Texture: Smooth / matte finish — better for clean contact and easy control rather than heavy spin generation.
- Balance: Low balance — the weight sits closer to the hand, making the racket easier to manoeuvre during volleys, blocks and defensive shots.
- Sweet Spot: Large and central, slightly lower than centre — forgiving on off-centre hits and ideal for players still developing timing.
- Playing Style: Control, comfort and consistency — best for players who want to keep the ball in play, build rallies and improve confidence.
- Player Ability: Beginner to early intermediate — especially suited to recreational players, club starters and those moving on from hire rackets.
- Racket Shape: Round — designed to make shot placement easier and reduce mishits.
- Racket Material: Carbon and fibreglass frame with a fibreglass hitting surface — gives a softer, more forgiving feel than stiff carbon-faced rackets.
- Racket Core: Soft EVA foam — helps absorb vibration and gives the ball an easier rebound at slower swing speeds.

Excellent shoes, excellent service and communication. I will definitely use Paddlespeed again, thank you. Les👍
Well pleased with the service and shoes are comfortable with a little wider fit than others ive tried, very pleased with the product and service
arrived very quickly once ordered, the paddle is very good quality, has no lip around the edge, took a couple of sessions to get use to the new paddle. fells like it has improved my game (but you have to ask my partners)
good value for the money
This is an amazing paddle! I’ve had few and this one feels the best of all so far. It’s lighter than one’s I’ve had before which is so much better for my frequently injured wrist.
Great advice and very professional attitude
Here’s a relaxed review you could post:
Absolutely delighted with my Volt 900 padel racket! It arrived really well packaged and the delivery was quick. Communication from Padel Speed was spot on from start to finish, keeping me updated throughout. The racket itself feels fantastic on court and I’m really happy with it. Thanks again to Padel Speed – a great experience all round. Highly recommended!
I bought this pressuriser for my Dad. He has tried out a few in the past including manual and other automatic ones, but he seems certain this one has been the best one yet. He has noticed a genuine difference in his ball lifespan. Super happy I chose preserva!
Bought this for myslef about a month ago now and can seriously see the difference in my padel ball pressure. I've definitely bought less balls than I would've without preserva. I would genuinely reccomend this product!
This is the best racket I have used since playing padel for the last two years. Started with. Nox, moved to Bullpadel and ow this racket, I would never go back!
Resolve the issue quickly.
Have had a few pressurisers now and this has been my favourite. It actually works well at improving the pressure of balls
